I was born in Denver, Colorado, lived in L.A., Santa Cruz and moved to Oregon in 1978. I have lived in small towns, big towns but I believe Grants Pass is the best!!! I was a Paramedic for 27 years but for 10 years did public relations for the ambulance company. I have lived in Grants Pass 23 years. I enjoy and value people, that’s why I ‘m at the Chamber!  It has afforded me an opportunity to help maintain a healthy business environment for our 700 members, representing 10,000 employees. Some hobbies are traveling in our motorhome, riding our Harley or riding the rail in our railroad car. Please, don’t hesitate to contact me for any reason.

My daughter and I came to Grants Pass in 1980. For 15 years I worked as an upholsterer before going back to school for a degree in business. I started with the chamber part time while going to school and shortly after I graduated, there was a full-time position opening. Working at the chamber and being a part of the business community in Grants Pass is an honor. For fun, I spend as much time as possible on the Rogue River and camping nearby. My name is Kim Skinner. I am the newest member of the Grants Pass Chamber of Commerce family! My husband & I have lived in Merlin for 34 years. We have a hardwood floor business, Elite Floor Installations. We have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. My hobbies are floating on the river, looking for rocks (I am a rockhound!) and spending time with family & friends.
