Saturday Artisan & Crafters Market

When: Oct 31 to Feb 27.

A festive open-air market featuring some of the finest artisans from around the Rogue Valley. View a wide variety of exquisite, handmade items including: glass art, pottery, jewelry, metal art, photography, garden art, furniture, textiles, watercolor, mixed media and much, much more. Events in January

Worm Wonders & Click Clack Moo

When: Jan 13 to Jun 26, variety.

"Worm Wonders" and "Click Clack Moo"
At 11 am on Wednesday January 13, the Master Gardeners will present a program for children called "Worm Wonders." The program will include stories about worms as well as activities for children to learn more about worms.
Here's the weekly schedule of children's programs at the Grants Pass library:
K9 Reading Buddies, for students in grades K-3, every Tuesday, 4-5 pm
Little Bear Storytime, for preschoolers, every Wednesday, 11-11:30 am
NEW TIME! Family Storytime, for families of all ages, every other Saturday starting January 9, 1-1:30 pm
NEW! Saturday Children's Matinee, every other Saturday starting January 16, 1-1:30 pm.
Each matinee will feature a short children's film connected with a book. The January 16 film is "Click Clack Moo."

Mastery of Aging Well

When: Feb 3 to Mar 3, 1:30 - 3pm.

Session 1. Memory Difficulties: Should I Be Worried? Covers how memory works and why it sometimes doesn’t, with special
focus on how to improve memory and recall. (Feb. 3rd)

Session 2. Depression in Later Life Offers an overview of depression and aging, including information on what predisposes aging adults to the risk of depression. (Feb. 10th)

Session 3. Medication Jeopardy Outlines the risks attached to taking medications and how age influences risk. (Feb 17th)

Session 4. Food as Medicine Is a provocative presentation about eating and aging, with a review of nutritional recommendations for the aging adult. (Feb. 24th)

Session 5. Physical Activity and Exercise in Later Life Demonstrates how exercise/activity programs can help aging adults stay independent and physically able. (March 3rd)

Game Night

Dyslexia Presentation

Ancient Grains Cooking
