DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the Young Professionals Monthly Luncheon. Our guest speaker will be Kelsy Ausland of Ausland Group talking on "Leading during uncertain times"\n\n\n\nKelsy Ausland\, PE is President and Principal Engineer of Ausland Group\, a regional commercial design and construction firm headquartered in Grants Pass. Kelsy is passionate about the Ausland vision of bringing world class development\, at a local scale\, to our communities. \n\n \n\nAusland employees nearly 100 team members and has offices in Grants Pass\, Ashland\, and Eugene. Current projects include the new Market of Choice grocery store in Medford\, renovation of the Chateau at the Oregon Caves National Monument\, a renovation of Nash Hall at Oregon State University\, and the new Weekend Beer Company Taphouse.\n\n \n\nKelsy is a lifelong Oregonian. She was raised in Portland\, attended Oregon State University earning degrees in Civil Engineering\, and moved to Grants Pass where she started a family. Her husband\, Aaron Ausland\, is also an OSU alumni and runs the company with Kelsy. In addition to engineering and construction\, Kelsy is passionate about serving her community. She is on the Board of Directors of Britt Festivals and currently working with various groups to assist with the Almeda Fire Re-Build.\n\n \n\nRecognition for accomplishments include: \n\n 2020 "Top Project Award" from American Society of Civil Engineers (Oregon Chapter)\n 2017 "Phenom Award" by the Daily Journal of Commerce\n 2014 "Women of Vision Award" by the Daily Journal of Commerce\n 2010 "Outstanding Early Career Achievement Award" from Oregon State University\n\nPlease RSVP to receive the link. Invite a guest to register!\n\n\n\nThe Young Professionals Network is for young professionals in the target age range of 18-45 who are looking for networking opportunities with other young professionals\, connections to the community and business leaders\, community engagement\, and professional development.The network holds monthly luncheons\, quarterly socials\, and community service projects.\n\n\n\nThis program is a part of the Grants Pass & Josephine County Chamber of Commerce.The Chamber is a catalyst that enables businesses to accomplish collectively what no single business could do alone. A strong united effort gives a voice to members\, provides a business environment that is both competitive and supportive and helps improve the overall health of our community.
