Free Summer Reading Program events in the parks

Families are invited to special storytimes at local parks where children will be offered free books to take home and free lunch through the Summer Meals Program.

Josephine Community Library District (JCLD), in partnership with Southern Oregon Education Service District (SOESD) OSU Extension Services and Grants Pass School District 7, is offering the following storytimes at 11:45 a.m.

*Tuesdays at Lawnridge Park
*Wednesdays at Reinhart Park
*Thursdays at Riverside Park

Families are invited to join in additional free Summer Reading Program events through Saturday, August 4 at any of the four branches of JCLD in Grants Pass, Illinois Valley, Williams, and Wolf Creek.

The Summer Reading Program is completely free and offered during regular library hours at all four branches. Funding for the Children's Summer Reading Program is made possible by the Oregon State Library Ready to Read Grant.
