Join the Adult Swim Program - Grants Pass YMCA
The Adult Swim Program is a YMCA aquatics program for adult swimmers of all ages, 19 to 100+, and all skill levels who are looking to improve their water fitness routine. Whether you are a triathlete, open water, pool, or lap swimmer – or want to be become one, we can help you achieve your goals.
YMCA Adult Swim Program welcomes amateur and dedicated swimmers alike looking for improvement in your stroke technique or swimming times. YMCA coaches foster a fun and competitive environment for all types of swimmers to thrive and grow in. While the Adult Swim Program is affiliated and registered with U.S. Masters Swimming, membership is NOT required, and you are NOT required to swim competitively. We will work with all skill levels.
Make new friends and improve your health with Adult Fitness Swim at the Y, where caring coaches provide speed and endurance training, motivation, drills, stroke technique, and fun workouts. Each session is coached by a Certified Masters Swim Coach who works with you to improve your own technique and efficiency in the water based on proven development methods.
If you would like to compete with Team GPY, local competition information will be communicated to team members from the coach and put in flyers as well. Swim workouts include development of all 4 strokes. Distance usually ranges 1500-3000 yards.
